How to reset HP-1020 and HP 1022 (Cold Reset)

Cold reset HP LaserJet 1022 procedure, perform the following steps:

* Power off the printer.
* Power on the printer while depressing both the Go and Cancel buttons.
* Keep the buttons depressed. The lights will begin to flash in sequence.

* Release the buttons when all three lights begin to flash in union.

The printer is now reset and ready for use.

HP LaserJet 1018 and 1020 printer, perform the following:

Power off the printer.
Power on the printer.

The printer is now reset and ready for use.
